Solo was launched as a new monthly publication in Spring 1958 as a result of the demand from Kamera readers for more photographs of their most popular models.

Anne Austin was the first of 59 models to feature in the 61 issues of magazine that were published over the next ten years – three models appeared twice and one issue featured a duo.

We will be reproducing many of the pocketbooks on CD and as Downloads* in the months ahead.

On screen, the images are up to 830 pixels high depending on your screen setting so they will reproduce considerably larger than the original books.

All 36 pages of the book, including the covers, have been included.
