There are 145 names on this list at present. During his 15 years in glamour photography Harrison Marks photographed hundreds of different models. The majority who got into a HM pocketbook appeared in one or more of the 89 issues of Kamera. Others made it onto the pages of 'In Focus' or 'Femme'. At first models were not named in the publications at all. Later the name of the cover girl was published in the centre-spread of Kamera and when 'Solo' appeared, which only ever featured an individual model who had previously appeared in Kamera, the model was always named, although not necessarily her real name. This database is made up from the most commonly used names of the models that were named. There are probably between three and four hundred models who only appeared in one issue of a Harrison Marks publication who were not, and may never be, identified. The year indicates the time of the model's first known appearance in a HM publication (excluding photographic prints and transparencies).
