Even today, female
models are more likely to be prepared to do girl/girl shots than girl/boy. It seems to
have always been the case that female homosexuality has been acceptable. But images of a
lesbian nature did not appear in British publications until well into the seventies. The
Masseuse (1969) was probably Harrison Marks' first adult film to explore the
girl/girl theme. Lesbianism seems to have been popular with his home movie fans, because in the early seventies Harrison Marks produced a series of films that explored the subject, including A Hit for Two Miss's, Life Study and Vibrations as well as Ticket to Ride (1972), which introduced the bisexual girl to his films for the first time. Stills from all these films are avialable as downloads from our photo libraries. Left: The Amorous Masseuse (1969), was the first HM adult film to exploit male interest in lesbianism. |
